Paul Barnes - Typography and publication design
Paul Barnes is a unique breed of graphic designer specializing in typography and publication design. He is a recipient of the Black Pencil from the D&AD and was nominated for the Design Museum ‘Designer of the Year’ in September of 2006 and was named one of the 40 most influential designers under 40 in Wallpaper. The following year the Guardian named him as one of the 50 best designers in Britain.
Indexhibit
In case you’ve never heard of it, Indexhibit is a simple to implement and easy to modify web platform (much like Wordpress) that is available for free from Indexhibit.org. It is totally open-source. The only stipulation of using it is that the site say “Built With Indexhibit” with a link back to the project site. While the standard layout and Indexhibit menu system is easy to use, Indexhibit themes are few (and not in the spirit of the project!). With a tiny amount of work, Indexhibit is highly customizable and very flexible.
