Fred Tomaselli

Fred Tomaselli's works of art are made up of an interesting combination of over the counter drugs, marijuana leaves to magazine cut outs and hand-painted details. His own personal experience of drugs led to this creative exploration of art and drugs. As Tomaselli suggests, the eye is the receiver as opposed to the bloodstream but in effect you are still experiencing the 'trip'.

Slim Rich and Famous

Following a journey through the harsh realities of war as a combat photographer, Aarons then decided to explore the elite world of glamour, fame and wealth. It wasn't long before he was swept into a whirlwind of luxury and extravagance and became an integral part of his subjects' lives.
'Slim, Rich and Famous' is exhibiting at the Getty Images Gallery for the next month.

David Ryle

David Ryle

Much of Ryle's work reminds me of Nick Meek's from composition of shot and choice of location, to the similar 'bleached out' effect.

Nick Meek

However, Ryle explores other dimensions in both mood and content and I think his work has a more atmospheric feel to it, which differentiates his work from Meek's. In particular, much of his 'places' work posseses a serene and calm quality, which is all created through setting, use of tones, the stillness and lack of presence within the pictures.

Ryle is also developing his portraiture work.

Alison Carmichael

Clean Me, is the first in a self promotional series by Alison Carmichael. “We projected my artwork on to the back of the van so I could trace it in the dirt with my finger,” she explains.

The queen of hand lettering shows the beauty of words when they are hand lettered as illustrated in her previous works, most particularly the infamous 'Cunt' poster.
